Did you know that the Kennedy Half Dollars that were minted between 1964  had 90% silver, and those minted between 1965 and 1970 contained 40% pure silver?

Currently Silver trades for around $17/ounce which puts the melt-value of a 1964 Kennedy Half Dollar (with 0.3617 ounces of pure silver) at a minimum of $6. The 1965-1970 editions contain only 0.1479 and have a melt-value of only $2.55.
